Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, your guide will pick you up and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and impressive elephant herds. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse habitats featuring river valleys, swamps, and open plains. Tarangire is home to elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while surrounded by remarkable landscapes and wildlife. Continue exploring the park during the afternoon before driving to the public campsite near Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight camping.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, admire breathtaking views of the highlands and endless plains stretching towards the horizon. Upon entering Serengeti, begin your game drive while heading towards the central region. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Spend a full day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations. Early morning and afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to observe predators in action, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. The park is also home to large populations of elephants, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, topis, and wildebeests. Your experienced guide will take you to wildlife-rich areas while sharing fascinating insights about animal behaviour and the ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your safari adventure. Return to the campsite in the evening for dinner and another memorable overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast and a final morning game drive in Serengeti, continue exploring the park while gradually travelling towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This journey offers additional wildlife viewing opportunities across the vast plains. En route, you may choose to visit the famous Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site known as the Cradle of Mankind, at an additional cost. After enjoying a picnic lunch, proceed to the Ngorongoro highlands, where spectacular scenery and cooler temperatures await. Arrive at the campsite located on the crater rim in the late afternoon and enjoy dinner while overlooking one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara – Arusha

Following an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater floor supports abundant wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while admiring the dramatic scenery. Later, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a short game drive through lush forests and along the lakeshore. The park is renowned for tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, and diverse birdlife.
